As the Central Texas Aviation Lead, you will serve as our leader in this critical local market. This includes:

Work cooperatively with other Area and National leaders and marketing staff on local marketing and production efforts and in developing and implementing a strategic plan for delivery and growth.

Partner with Area Market Sector Lead and Airfield Design Business Class Lead to determine skills that are needed on the team.

Assist in the selection, training, development, and management of technical personnel.

Serve as a key partner to Senior Project Managers and Senior Engineers.

Provide Client Management to select clients.

Support Transportation and Aviation Market Sectors in identifying and recruiting key hires.

Support our overall Airfield Design Business Class and Practice Groups in development and implementation of best practices

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license in TX

Experience working with Austin Bergstrom and/or San Antonio International Airports

Experience coordinating with the FAA Southwest Regional Office personnel.

Previous work experience on airfield designs requiring Part 139 operating certifications.

Understands project scheduling and critical path method

  • Experience with design proposal development
