Job summary

SPT Labtech in Texas is seeking a Territory Sales Manager – Central to own the annual sales territory for liquid handling portfolio across TX, OK, KS and NE. You will conduct product demonstrations, lead generation, trade shows, and manage pipeline end-to-end, building trusted relationships with genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery labs.

The role requires 5+ years in capital equipment sales in Life Sciences, with travel up to 50%, and experience with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a capital equipment sales role in Life Sciences.
• Experience selling automated liquid handling technologies or familiarity with lab automation.
• Undergraduate degree in Life Science; Genomics or Protein Crystallography background advantageous.
• Drive, tenacity, targets-driven and resilient.
• Growth mindset, curiosity, and ability to work independently and remotely.
• Willing to travel up to 50% and base near a travel hub.
• CRM experience; Salesforce desirable.
• Autonomous, team player able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell liquid handling and sample management product lines into genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery labs across the territory.
• Manage pre-sale activities through purchase order and support post-sale activities.
• Work with sales specialists, support, product management and marketing.
• Schedule and conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
• Own the sales pipeline end-to-end.
