Central Support Operations Coordinator I - National Remote

Apply now to join UnitedHealth Group as a Central Support Operations Coordinator I. This full-time, remote position offers flexibility within U.S. time zones, with initial training from 7:00am to 3:00pm Central, Monday to Friday, and regular hours from 10:30am to 7:00pm Central, Monday through Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manage inbound and outbound calls professionally, ensuring quality and productivity standards.
  2. Process communication and data via faxes, emails, and electronic means efficiently.
  3. Accurately enter and verify member data in the nH care management platform and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
  4. Complete administrative documentation for member records, including disenrollment, transitioning, and attaching relevant documents.
  5. Coordinate member care between healthcare providers and the health plan.
  6. Establish and maintain communication with providers, clients, and team members according to departmental policies.
  7. Manage member inquiries, resolve issues, or escalate when necessary.
  8. Monitor team duties through report review and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  9. Participate in meetings and promote a positive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Call center and healthcare experience.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Availability to work full-time weekdays within specified hours, including occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA laws.

  • Ability to keep sensitive documents secure.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
