Job summary

Morgan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator / Transport Assistant. This full-time role supports resident care by managing medical supplies and assisting with resident transportation to appointments.

Key duties include maintaining inventory, processing supply orders, coordinating with nursing staff, and ensuring safe, organized transport. Requires RI CNA license and valid driver’s license; MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Active RI CNA license required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook/email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of medical and nursing supplies for all units.
• Place and track weekly supply orders; monitor inventory to prevent shortages.
• Organize central supply area to keep supplies clean, accessible, and well stored.
• Communicate supply needs with nursing staff and other departments.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from medical appointments as needed.
• Lift, push, and pull supply boxes and equipment for stocking and inventory.
• Maintain records and documentation related to supplies and transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
