Job summary

St Martha Center is seeking a Central Supply/Unit Clerk to support inventory and purchasing for medical and related supplies. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork to keep supplies available for residents and staff.

The position involves loading/unloading pallets, processing weekly purchase orders, and coordinating with supervisors to anticipate future needs. Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate must have computer experience and good organizational skills.
• Ability to load and unload pallets and boxes is required.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and purchase order procedures is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Checking stock levels and maintaining proper inventory of all supplies.
• Placing weekly orders for medical, personal, enteral feedings/tubing and oxygen supplies.
• Checking incoming orders against purchase orders.
• Checking monthly invoices for price changes and making appropriate changes in charge amounts.
• Reevaluating levels throughout the week so upcoming needs can be anticipated.
• Keeping the central supply and equipment room organized.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
