Job summary

Rosewood Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a central supply clerk to maintain inventory of medical, nursing, and facility supplies and ensure proper storage and labeling. You will coordinate with nursing and other departments to address supply needs promptly and uphold infection control policies.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and reliable record-keeping with a focus on timely task execution in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare, inventory, central supply experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize supply boxes and materials.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of medical supplies and skilled nursing facility operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate inventory of medical, nursing, and facility supplies.
• Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute supplies to departments.
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare supply orders as needed.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with routine counts.
• Ensure supplies are stored, labeled, and rotated properly.
• Monitor expiration dates and remove expired or damaged supplies.
• Communicate with vendors and assist with deliveries and discrepancies.
• Keep central supply area clean, organized, and secure.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies.
• Work closely with nursing and other departments to address supply needs promptly.
