Job summary

Bethel Pointe Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented Central Supply Clerk to manage ordering, stocking, and charging of nursing supplies. You will support caregivers by ensuring supplies are available, accurately billed, and stocked efficiently across the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, computer and Excel/Word proficiency, and a commitment to confidentiality. COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Order nursing supplies and maintain stock levels.
• Keep supply rooms organized and coordinate with nursing staff for replenishment.
• Bill for supplies and enter data into the billing system.
• Process therapies and beauty shop services billing as applicable.
• Assist residents with shopping when needed and as assigned.
• Operate within the department budget and protect resident confidentiality.
• Document incidents per facility policy using the reporting system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.

Central Supply Clerk Primary Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Central Supply Clerk is the responsibility for the ordering, stocking and charging of all nursing supplies.

Responsibilities

Central Supply Clerk Essential Functions

• Ordering proper amounts of all nursing supplies.
• Keeping nursing supply rooms properly stocked and communicating with nursing staff to determine if any supplies need to be replenished or changes made in stock.
• Charging for all supplies used and entering information into the appropriate computer system for billing, daily and month-end purposes on a timely basis.
• Billing for all therapies and beauty shop services.
• Shopping for the resident when needed and as assigned.
• Operating within departmental budget.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure resident rights, privacy and property are protected at all times.
• Reporting and documenting resident and/or visitor incidents, accidents, complaints or allegations according to the facility’s policy and procedure using the designated occurrence reporting system.
• Performing other duties as assigned by Director of Clinical Services (DCS).

Qualifications

Central Supply Clerk Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word and Excel
• Have a thorough understanding of the principles of bestCentral Supply Clerk practices
• The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPP
