Southcoast Health in Wareham, MA is seeking a Central Sterile Technician for 40 hours in the day shift, with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation. Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA. The role requires processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments with attention to quality control and safety standards. Certification within two years is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of high school plus additional courses or training.
• Requires successful completion of a Central Service training course with certification within two (2) years of employment.
• Prior hospital experience is preferred.
• Limited computer skills are required.
• Must have Central Services Certification within two (2) years of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsabilités

• Under general supervision of the Nurse Manager or Designee, perform a variety of duties including process, sterile and distribute instruments and other supplies in a clean condition.
• Responsible for ensuring that all items processed for sterilization have met the criteria before leaving the department.
• Perform other related duties as required including periodic off-site training.

We are searching for a talented Central Sterile Technician

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation; Rotating day shift hours from 7:00am to 8:00pm

Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA
