Job summary

Phoenixville Hospital, part of Tower Health, seeks a Part Time Day Shift technician to support Central Sterile Processing. Schedule includes 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation. The role involves processing used surgical instrumentation, assembling packs, stocking areas, and relieving other aides.

Duties also include receiving and dispensing supplies, and performing cleaning, preparation and sterilizing tasks under direction, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant experience

Responsibilities

• To fulfill various ancillary functions such as the processing of used surgical instrumentation, assembling and wrapping packs, restocking storage areas and relieving other aides.
• Receive and dispense supplies and equipment.
• Perform cleaning, assembling, preparation and sterilizing duties in Central Sterile Processing as directed
