Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton is seeking a Central Sterile Tech to join our rotating shift team in Milton, MA. You will follow sterilization protocols, manage case carts, and ensure instrument integrity. Required CSPD training or graduation, CRCST or CIS certification preferred within 6 months.

Computer skills with Meditech is required to support processing tasks. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $25.00–$33.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduate of CSPD training program required unless grandfathered by CSPD experience.
• CRCST or CIS certification preferred or required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow sterilization protocols for cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly and sterilization of instrumentation.
• Operate sterile processing equipment safely as per instructions.
• Monitor and document sterilizer indicators (mechanical, chemical, biological).
• Prepare and distribute surgical case carts.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials used in sterile processing.
