Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to join our per diem team in Bristol, PA. You will decontaminate, prepare, and sterilize trays and instruments, manage inventory, and perform computer data entry with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, at least two years of CST experience in an acute care setting, and a current BLS certificate. Per diem, day shifts, and a collaborative, patient-focused environment await.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least two (2) years experience as a Central Sterile Technician required; acute care setting preferred.
• Central Supply Certified certification preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, preparation, and sterilization of Central Sterile trays and instruments.
• Inventory management and restocking of supplies.
• Computer data entry and patient charge card batching.
• Demonstrates knowledge of department locations and effective communication.

Responsibilities

The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization of Central Sterile trays, instruments, equipment, inventory and restocking of supplies, computer data entry and patient charge card batching. Demonstrates knowledge of all department locations within facility and ability to access all departments. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates detailed awareness and knowledge of patient supplies and equipment.
