Under minimal supervision, team members receive, decontaminate, assemble, and reprocess supplies, instruments, and equipment for disinfection and sterilization.

Qualifications

High school diploma, with certification as a Central Sterile Technician preferred.

  • Two (2) years of experience in a Central Sterile Supply Technician position.
  • Ability to: a) effectively convey verbal and written information; b) follow directions; c) respond to emergency situations appropriately; d) adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the hospital, including all shifts; e) effectively function as a member of a collaborative team; f) organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities; and g) comply with The Joint Commission and OSHA standards.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $19.5-$27.31
