Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ seeks a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to support the operating room and central supply functions. The role involves washing, inspecting, packaging, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining records, with emphasis on quality and patient safety.

Applicants should have prior OR or central supply experience (certified), excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• Previous operating room technician or central supply technician experience (including appropriate certification) preferred.
• Previous surgical instrumentation/equipment decontamination and sterilization with familiarity of various instrument sterilization methods required.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, initiative and ability to take independent action, and be capable of establishing and maintaining outstanding working relationships

Short Description

• Previous operating room technician or central supply technician experience (including appropriate certification) preferred.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required

License/Certification Requirements

• CSP Certification (CRCST or CBSPD Certification).
