In this role, the Central Sterile Processing Technician reports to a Sterile Processing Supervisor/Manager and collaborates with Operating Room leadership, Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, and the broader Materials Management team; as a Sterile Processing Technologist you will perform thorough decontamination, precise tray assembly per IFU, steam and low‑temperature sterilization with biological and chemical monitoring, instrument set optimization, tracking and inventory control, loaner coordination for complex orthopedic and trauma cases, and meticulous documentation aligned with AAMI standards, while partnering daily with friendly nurses and a diverse team of surgeons, anesthesia professionals, techs, and supply chain specialists who value reliability, communication, and mutual respect.
