Job summary

The Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Technician at Mass General Brigham—Cooley Dickinson Hospital site—is responsible for picking up, assembling, processing, storing, and distributing reprocess and disposable items and equipment.

This per diem, on-site role lies in the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit and reports to the CSP Supervisor; candidates should meet the High School Diploma requirement and CSP certification.

Job Summary

The Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Technician is responsible for performing various functions involved in the pick up, assembly, processing, storage, and distribution of various reprocess and disposable items and/or equipment.

This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

This position reports to the Supervisor, Central Sterile Processing and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Licenses and Credentials: Certified Central Processing Tech [CSP] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required
• Experience: One (1) year CSP experience preferred
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic computer skills preferred
