Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC seeks CSP Technician I–III for full-time day shift. Responsibilities cover surgical tech duties, teamwork, and adherence to schedules while maintaining accuracy in fast-paced environments.

Training pathways exist from Tech I through Tech III with advancement based on experience, certification, and military or program requirements. The role emphasizes independent work, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively within the CSP team.

Qualifications

• CSP Tech I: High School diploma or equivalent; ability to work independently & in a team; be attentive to detail & maintain a positive attitude; ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously & prioritize a work schedule; ability to understand surgical/ medical terminology.
• CSP Tech II: At least 1-year experience required or have completed surgical technology or central sterile processing program with applicable certification. Deliver one in-service or participate on one special project per year under the manager/director's guidance. Serves as a positive role model for students and other team members. Ability to troubleshoot routine problems with CSP equipment.
• CSP Tech III: Must be a graduate of a program for Surgical Technicians and hold Certification administered by the NBSTSA or complete appropriate military training program for surgical technology or provide evidence of employment to practice surgical technology in a health care facility in SC prior to 1/1/2008 or is in the service of the federal government, to the extent the person is performing duties related to that service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model for students and teammates, guiding junior staff.
• Troubleshoot routine CSP equipment and maintain readiness for procedures.
