Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Grand Strand Medical Center is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Supervisor to ensure proper cleaning, decontamination and processing of surgical instrumentation in the Central Sterile Supply Department. You will supervise technician staff and support performance improvement initiatives while covering weekends and on-call duties as needed.

The role requires 2 years of CSP experience and a Sterile Processing certificate; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous Central Sterile experience required.
• Certificate in Sterile Processing. High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow hospital and AAMI standards for cleaning, decontamination and processing of surgical instrumentation.
• Supervise all technician staff; maintain day-to-day flow of the department.
• Participate in unit Performance Improvement projects; attend staff meetings.
