Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Minimum of five years of recent experience in sterile processing, central service, surgical services, or related healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in decontamination, sterilization, instrumentation, infection prevention, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience as a preceptor, educator, trainer, supervisor, or clinical instructor.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic, laboratory, hybrid, and clinical courses; coordinate clinical learning experiences.
• Maintain relationships with healthcare partners; support program assessment and continuous quality improvement; promote student success and workforce readiness.
• Advise students and provide program support; engage in credential attainment and workforce preparedness.
