Job Summary

• This position performs all essential operational functions of a highly technical central station environment such as monitoring and responding to alarm systems, reporting, and escalating notification on security related issues.
• This role works in tandem with operational team members to ensure the protection and security of all Company employees, visitors, contractors, property, and brand.

Essential Job Functions

• Provides 24 / 7 support via monitoring, processing, and responding to all technological activity to ensure timely and effective resolution including but not limited to : threat and investigation triage, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), alarms, access incidents, life safety systems, Closed Circuit Television review, and facilitate emergency response activities.
• Utilizes multi-tasking skills to communicate, evaluate, and determine the best approach in a high pressure and time sensitive environment.
• Configures, programs and tests security equipment for proper function.
• Translates activity into accurate written correspondence and responsible for data entry of items.
• Participates in all assigned training to include but not limited to : report writing, effective communication, evacuation drills, violent intruder scenarios, operational systems, policy and procedure / post order reviews.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Actions

• This role will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
• Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
• Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
• Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
• Visually verifies and reads information.
• Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
• Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

• One year of related experience required with emphasis in Central Station or Security Operations Center preferred.
• Experience in law enforcement, military, dispatch center, private security preferred.

Special Skill Requirement

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and Outlook
• Ability to communicate both verbally and by written correspondence in a clear, concise, and professional manner
• Ability to multitask and prioritize deliverables
