Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Administration Scheduler to manage shift planning for 1–2 units in a busy hospital setting. You will ensure adequate staffing patterns and coordinate coverage to maintain continuity of care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or better, an associate degree preferred, at least five years of administrative support experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with common office software.

Qualifications

  • High school level knowledge required.
  • Detail attentiveness in a busy hospital department.
  • Self-motivated and able to self-direct.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for creating shift schedules for 1-2 units in hospital setting.
  • Schedule staff coverage to ensure efficient staffing patterns for the hospitals.
  • Perform clerical duties required by Nursing Administration Division.

Location: Samaritan Medical Center Department: 01.8992 SMC NURSING FLOAT PERSO

Pay Range: 17.45 - 22.25

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience with shift scheduling a plus!
  • High school level of knowledge.
  • Associates degree in secretarial science or graduate of post secondary business school preferred.
  • Detail attentiveness required for this busy hospital department.
  • Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
  • Exceptional organizational skills a must.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments/projects with accuracy needed.
  • Five years prior experience, with experience in both administrative support preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer software.
  • Previous experience in healthcare environment preferred.
