Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Central Services, Transient Sales Specialist to join our growing Central Sales Management department, who will focus on establishing and executing Transient sales strategy for a portfolio of Select & Full Service hotels. The Role
The Central Services, Transient Sales Specialist is a highly skilled role requiring demonstrated success and expertise in the Transient business segment, Hyatt systems, and the hotel/business travel industry. This individual will lead market and account research to identify hotel opportunities and apply strategic business development techniques to increase market share across Transient accounts.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing the Transient RFP process for a portfolio of hotels and engaging business travelers using World of Hyatt tools to foster brand loyalty. As the program evolves, the Specialist will also coordinate and lead a team of Transient Sales Specialists, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
This role requires the ability to coach and develop team members for high performance, while also influencing both on-property and above-property leadership. The ideal candidate will be adept at professional selling skills—opening, probing, supporting, and closing—and possess exceptional negotiation capabilities.
Proficiency in Hyatt systems, Agency360, Demand360, and general computer applications is essential. The ability to train others and manage tasks such as sending referrals, setting traces, and profiling accounts is also critical. Strong communication and organizational skills are vital to success in this role.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000. This position is also eligible to earn a bonus.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
