The Cumberland County School District is seeking a Special Education Compliance Coordinator to support and provide direct instructional assistance to Special Education classroom teachers through a collegial and collaborative model, aiming to indirectly improve growth and functioning of special education classes.
Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field, Tennessee teaching license in the appropriate area, and three years of related experience.

The job of Special Education Compliance Coordinator was established to support and provide direct instructional assistance to the Special Education classroom teachers via a collegial and collaborative model and indirectly improve growth and functioning of special education classes.
Skills are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: applying assessment instruments; preparing and maintaining accurate records; planning and managing projects; and using pertinent software applications.
Three (3) years of job-related experience is desired.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field. TN teaching license in appropriate area.
