Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Central Service Technician to work in a hospital setting located in Torrance, CA. The Central Service Tech needs a minimum of one (1) year of practical experience in a Level I Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population as a CST responsible for the overall cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, case cart pulling, assembly, packaging, restocking supplies, and dispensing of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for surgical procedures in surgery and related departments such as Operating Rooms, Procedural Areas, Inpatient Units, Clinic Units, and Emergency Department.

Pay Rate: $31/hr

Shift: Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays | 8hr shifts | per diem | Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Requirements:

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)ora certificate confirming successful completion of a sterile processing course
• AHA BLS
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City Fire)
• Basic Life: $25,000 (100% employer paid)
• Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid)
• Voluntary Life/AD&D: Additional coverage options available for employees, spouses and children (100% employee paid)
