UCLA Health is seeking a Central Service Technician CST II to support the Uniform Distribution, Laundry, Linen, and Materials Management departments across UCLA locations. In this position, you will perform duties as a Central Service Technician Tech ll, (CSTll) supporting the Uniform Distribution Department, assisting the Laundry and Linen Department along with the Materials Management Department as needed. This role directly supports the distribution of the UCLA Uniforms Department across RRH, SMH, West Valley and outside clinics. Work assignments are prioritized and carried out in alignment with the departmental goals, operational needs.
The Central Service Technician is responsible for maintain accurate and efficient inventory management across assigned locations. Core responsibilities include but not limited to, setting appointments, processing uniform order requests, overseeing the Nursing uniform ordering site and 3rd party website, placing supply orders, to replenish inventory levels, monitoring supply utilization trends, and evaluating inventory turns to proactively adjust par levels to meet fluctuating demands. The CSTll plays a key role in maintaining efficient par management processes to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained while minimizing supply shortages or overstock conditions.
Additional responsibilities include receiving, verifying, and distributing incoming supplies and equipment thought the health system. This includes packing slips with delivered designated storage and procedural areas in a safe and timely manner.
