Location: Gorham, ME

Pay Range: $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Summary / Objective

The Central Scheduler will efficiently schedule Maine Optometry patients for exams and services across various locations. The role requires organization, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Experience in healthcare or customer service is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Essential Functions

• Perform appointment scheduling for a high-volume practice.
• Cancel and reschedule patient appointments as needed.
• Provide patients with instructions for exams or procedures.
• Optimize scheduling to minimize gaps and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA privacy guidelines.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
