Vox Church is seeking a Central Production Lead to support its mission through AVL excellence across campuses. The role includes providing AVL support, leading volunteers, and ensuring high-quality production standards. Position Summary
The Central Production Lead plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Vox Church by executing and implementing the production vision across all campuses. This role ensures excellence in AVL (Audio, Video, and Lighting) systems through campus support, new launch integration, volunteer leadership, inventory management, and Sunday service execution. The Central Production Lead helps ensure that each space and event is equipped to clearly and creatively present the Gospel through AVL excellence.
Essential Responsibilities
Campus & Launch Support
Provide AVL support to Vox Church campuses, with responsibilities scaling based on campus size, event load, and complexity.
Assist in special events including conferences, recordings, and worship nights.
Respond to and resolve campus technical issues both on-site and remotely.
Lead volunteers through launch prep and AVL installations.
Maintain, update, and implement campus protocols and documentation.
Assist in building and configuring AVL racks and systems for new campuses and upgrades.
Oversee and execute AVL system troubleshooting, equipment upkeep, and repairs.
Complete weekly Production Support Requests and Sunday service support rotations.
Support and run campus rehearsals as part of a scheduled rotation with other Central Leads as needed.
Central Support
Serve as a core member of the Central Production team, collaborating on system strategy, equipment standards, and special projects.
Prepare, test, and maintain AVL gear for Central events and loaner requests.
Maintain and organize the production warehouse, including inventory tracking and stage equipment prep.
Oversee weekly stage prep at the Branford broadcast campus.
Maintain an orderly and efficient workspace for gear maintenance, packing, and deployment.
Procure gear and manage order timelines for projects, events, and campus needs.
Qualifications
A passionate and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Active or willing to become an active member of Vox Church
Knowledgeable in AVL systems (audio, video, and lighting)
Preferred experience with Digico, Blackmagic, and GrandMA systems
High capacity for managing multiple projects and deadlines
Effective communicator and collaborative team member
Coachable, flexible, and self-motivated
Comfortable leading volunteers and teams
Detail-oriented and quality-driven
Preferred: 2–3 years of live production or AVL integration experience
Preferred: Experience with warehouse organization and inventory control
