Job summary

The Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ seeks a CPD Educator and Quality Assurance Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate orientation, competency and quality assurance programs for Central Processing Department staff.

The role develops and maintains department policies, coordinates with the OR and other areas, and ensures thorough documentation and education for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; surgical tech certification preferred.
• Accredited central processing certifications (CRCST/CBSPD) preferred.
• Three years in sterile processing or related area is desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and appraise orientation, competency and QA programs for CPD staff.
• Develop and maintain Central Processing policies and procedures; coordinate with multiple departments.
