Job summary

Orenda seeks a Manager, Central Operations (Asset Management) to run the fleet's command center and own the 24/7 real-time control and data intelligence function. You will build this function from scratch, establish alarm philosophy, dispatch workflows, and the interface with grid operators while holding vendors accountable with data.

The role requires leadership of a shift or desk, proven incident command, and experience with EMS/SCADA tools, analytics, and revenue-related auditing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in control room or operations center environments (utility, ISO, power plant, or renewables).
• Experience leading a shift, desk, or team with response ownership.
• Alarm management experience with an improved alarm philosophy or playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Run the fleet's 24/7 real-time control and data intelligence function.
• Build and scale the central operations function from zero, including alarm philosophy, dispatch flow, and interface with grid operators.
• Own EMS/SCADA tools for operators and ensure accurate revenue statements.
