Organization Overview: The Chief Technology Office (CTO) defines and executes the enterprise-wide technology strategy, ensuring alignment and efficiency. The Operations Enterprise Architecture team within CTO drives process transformation, risk reduction, and efficiencies through advanced technology solutions, including data architecture and AI adoption.

Job Purpose: This role is vital for leading data strategy, architecture, and design for key initiatives such as payments, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, liquidity management, and general ledger. The candidate will design, implement, and manage enterprise data architecture, standardize data management frameworks, and collaborate across various functions to optimize data pipelines, automate controls, and enhance analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and maintain cohesive data architecture to support real-time, event-based data consumption.
2. Engage with business and technical partners to identify needs and pain points.
3. Design and implement data architecture for legacy and new applications, including data definitions, sourcing, transformation, and storage.
4. Develop and improve logical data models, address data issues, and document models in the data catalog.
5. Establish standards, guardrails, and foundational components for data solutions.
6. Evaluate and select technical solutions like data lakes, warehouses, and data fabrics.
7. Assess tools for data visualization, lineage, and analytics support.
8. Collaborate with SMEs to apply emerging standards and best practices.
9. Create high-quality documentation and design artifacts.
10. Build strong relationships with technology and business teams and lead data strategy execution.
11. Recruit and develop a team of data scientists and engineers.
