Job summary

DeKalb County School District is seeking certified and/or retired teachers to work as Substitute Teachers in schools throughout the district for the 2026-2027 school year. As a substitute teacher, you will assume the duties of the regular classroom teacher, focusing on classroom management and delivering a quality instructional plan while meeting the needs of diverse learners.

This is a district pool offering day-to-day assignments.

Qualifications

• Standards Commission approved accredited college or university required.
• Valid Professional Standards Commission approved certificate at level T-4 or above in a core certification area.
