Job Overview

Lead the overnight Night Stockers team, overseeing ordering, receiving, and stocking of products during night hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with the Grocery Manager to meet nightly goals.
• Manage ordering, stock rotation, and out-of-stock issues.
• Ensure stocking standards and merchandising are followed during the night shift.
• Report problems and communicate issues to the Grocery Manager.
• Train and supervise Night Stockers to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain organization in the backroom and staging areas.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, signage, and POG compliance.
• Report equipment issues and serve as backup in the absence of the Overnight Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years supervisory experience preferred, especially leading night crews.
• 3-6 months stocking experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Experience in customer service and decision-making.
• Able to work overnight shifts and in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, and handle chemicals.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and push heavy loads for extended periods.

Work Environment

Moderate noise, exposure to mechanical parts and chemicals, fast-paced with long standing and walking periods.
