Job summary

Eramet's Comilog subsidiary seeks a Central Maintenance Director to define and drive maintenance strategy across mining, processing, and transport operations. You will oversee asset availability, reliability, and safety while managing costs and continuity in a global, multi-site context.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead diverse teams, advance world-class maintenance standards, and align stakeholders around operational excellence with strong HSE governance and data-driven

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Master’s degree in an industrial/mining field.
• At least 15 years of experience in an industrial environment, including leadership roles.
• Experience in international settings, ideally mining/metals, with CMMS deployment/optimization.
• Expertise in heavy industrial maintenance, mobile equipment, fixed installations; railway equipment and major shutdowns are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy maintenance policy and strategy across all sites and activities.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and risk control of critical assets across mine, processing, transport and port facilities.
• Structure and improve maintenance processes, including planning, scheduling, CMMS, reliability engineering, spare parts management and reporting.
• Lead deployment of a world-class maintenance model based on continuous improvement, reliability, predictive maintenance and TPM/RCM/FMEA.
• Lead multi-site governance (100+ people), harmonize practices, support operations and manage performance through data.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will define and lead Comilog’s central maintenance strategy across its entire value chain, from mining to the port, including mineral processing and rail transport.

You will ensure the availability, reliability and performance of industrial assets, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, cost control and operational continuity.

Leading multidisciplinary, multi-site teams, you will deploy world-class maintenance standards and bring stakeholders together around a shared vision of operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Define and deploy Comilog’s maintenance policy and strategy across all sites and activities.
• Ensure the availability, reliability and risk control of critical assets across the mine, processing and transformation units, railway operations and port facilities.
• Structure and continuously improve maintenance processes, including methods, planning, work preparation, scheduling, CMMS, reliability engineering, spare parts management and reporting.
• Lead the deployment of a world-class maintenance model, based on continuous improvement, reliability, predictive maintenance and WCM/TPM, RCM and FMEA standards.
• Lead multi-site governance (100+ people), harmonize practices, support operational departments and manage performance through data and common routines.
• Ensure HSE requirements are embedded, optimize maintenance costs, secure major shutdowns and contribute to strategic investments.

Your Profile:

• You hold an Engineering degree or a Master’s degree in an industrial or mining-related technical field.
• You have at least 15 years of experience in an industrial environment, in operations and/or maintenance, including significant experience in a leadership role.
• You have proven maintenance experience in an international environment, ideally in the mining or metals industry, as well as experience deploying or improving a CMMS.
• You have expertise in heavy industrial maintenance, mobile equipment and fixed installations. Experience with railway equipment and major shutdown management would be an asset.
• A recognized leader, you are able to lead change and federate multi-site teams. You are rigorous, organized, results-oriented and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
• Committed to HSE excellence, you demonstrate autonomy, curiosity, analytical thinking and a strong team spirit. You can prioritize, adopt a solutions-oriented approach and work collaboratively with all corporate functions.
