Job Summary:
As our Central Intake Coordinator, you will make a difference by performing intake functions including clinical and financial review of all referrals as designated by hospital assignment, which includes submitting insurance benefit verifications and prior authorizations. Additionally, in this role you will approve or elevate referrals based on clinical or financial capabilities of each campus. You will collaborate with multiple referral sources including hospital systems, case managers and individual facility leadership team at a minimum.
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
