Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler based in Birmingham, AL, with a history of over 123 years. The Warehouse Picker 1 at the Central Hub is responsible for timely replenishment of product into the Vertique system towers and for recycling damaged cases.

The role requires regular attendance, managing conveyor lanes, communicating with forklift operators, and following GMPs outlined in CFR 21.110.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read product packaging and communicate in English via radio.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill the discharge conveyors of one cell tower with thirty lanes.
• Keep all assigned conveyor lanes full with correct product as dictated by the lighting system.
• Load into discharge conveyors only good condition product; keep rollers free of debris.
• Follow the lighting system priorities; keep green lights, chase the red light.
• Communicate with forklift operators and system operators via radio about tower status.
• Recycle damaged items and log them in the damaged logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility; mop, sweep, trash disposal.
