Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through dispensing prescriptions and clerical work under a Pharmacist.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 10:30am-7:00pm EST, at 68 Cumberland St., Woonsocket RI or MA locations. Requires RI license, 1+ year experience, ability to lift 15 pounds and stand the shift.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Rhode Island.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds and stand throughout shift.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medical prescriptions and perform clerical duties under supervision.
• Work with large machines to fill scripts.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory records.
• Assist Pharmacist and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external partners.

We seek aPharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours

The shift for this role will be Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm EST

Location

68 Cumberland St., Suite 102, Woonsocket, RI 02895/ Bellingham, Attleboro, and Wrentham MA

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with large machines to fill scripts
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

RequiredQualifications:
