Meritus Health Inc. is seeking a Central Distribution Tech to support hospital operations by receiving, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies using computerized systems.

You will deliver supplies to patient care areas, ensure stock rotation, and participate in cycle counts and audits. The role emphasizes effective communication, task prioritization, and accuracy to meet supply needs and maintain patient care standards; evening/weekend shift considerations may apply with differential

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in supply chain distribution and customer service preferred.
• Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies using computerized systems.
• Delivering supplies and procedure trays to/from distribution centers and patient care areas.
• Ensuring stock rotation and checking expiration dates to maintain supply integrity.
• Participating in weekly cycle counts and annual inventory audits.
• Communicating effectively with team members and departments to meet supply needs.
• Prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Job description

Schedule: 2 days per week and every other weekend. Alternating split shifts: 6:30AM - 3:00PM, 2:30PM - 11:00PM

Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about supporting healthcare operations behind the scenes? We're looking for a Central Distribution Tech to play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medical and surgical supplies throughout our facility.

What You'll Do

• Receiving, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies using computerized systems
• Delivering supplies and procedure trays to/from distribution centers and patient care areas
• Ensuring stock rotation and checking expiration dates to maintain supply integrity
• Participating in weekly cycle counts and annual inventory audits
• Communicating effectively with team members and departments to meet supply needs
• Prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction

Key Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in supply chain distribution and customer service preferred
• Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal communication

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate for extended periods
• Occasional exposure to temperature fluctuations and hazardous materials
