Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Center Manager to oversee production-area staff and daily operations in Tucson, AZ. You will report to the Center Manager and coordinate personnel in donation centers, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to safety standards.

You will oversee performance, scheduling, inventory control, and donor interactions, while addressing non-conforming events and ensuring accurate processing across Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Frequent bending and reaching; ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

About the role:

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

How you will contribute:

• You will oversee employee performance and scheduling
• You will lead Inventory Control efforts and lead in operational efforts
• You will work with donors to resolve concerns
• You will analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events
• You will perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas.
• You will foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts.

What you bring to Takeda:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required

For Location: USA - AZ - Tucson - Auto U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $22.80 - $31.35 The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
