Job summary

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking an AWG Center Store Sales Execution Representative to drive Center Store sales in the Charleston, WV area. You will manage shelf placement, execute planograms, and push AWG Brands and HGS items in member stores within your territory.

The role requires field travel (60-80%), strong merchandising and customer service skills, and the ability to collaborate with brokers and vendors to complete store resets and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school graduate.
• 5 years in the grocery industry.
• Marketing/Sales background.
• Team focused.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong merchandising skills.
• Ability to use screwdriver, hammer, power drill, saw, etc.
• Valid driver’s license; daily travel and overnights required.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. or more; bending, standing, and sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sell members on new items, conversions and shelf placement.
• Execute category shelf work via planogram.
• Assist with new store tagging and resets.
• Execute assigned monthly focus objective work for Center Store portfolio.
• Work with brokers and vendors for store resets, new stores, remodels, etc.
• Provide insights to enhance placement of AWG Brands and HGS items.
• Complete required territory reporting.
