Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring a Center Store Associate in South Bend, IN, to work part-time and stock, rotate, and merchandise products while meeting guest experience guidelines.

Responsibilities include receiving and unloading merchandise, maintaining clean and well-stocked areas, and following safety and food safety standards. High school diploma preferred; retail experience helpful; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow PPE, Safety and Food Safety guidelines.
