Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in California seeks a Center Store Manager for Lucky in Alameda County. You will lead day-to-day operations, merchandising, and team development to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.

You will supervise Center Store products, inventory, pricing, and store conditions while guiding a team to uphold Lucky’s standards and winning behaviors. Forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, training, or experience.
• Experience in retail management or department leadership is preferred.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is required.
• Availability to work a variety of retail hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Center Store operations and merchandising to optimize sales and store condition.
• Provide leadership and direction to Center Store associates to support Lucky's mission.
• Train and develop associates for career advancement within the company.
• Manage inventory, pricing, schematics, back room, and product conditions.

Center Store Manager-Lucky(Alameda County)

The Center Store Manager ensures that our customers’ needs are met and exceeded through effective day-to-day management of the operations and merchandising functions for the Center Store Department. This position oversees Center Store product and conditions to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction (including back room and steel/shelving and conditions, inventory, schematics, and pricing).
The Center Store Manager provides leadership and direction to Center Store associates to promote a culture reflective ofLucky's mission statement and winning behaviors. This position trains and develops associates to enable their success and ability to advance in their careers. The Center Store Manager manages department performance and productivity to optimize store performance.

Hiring pay range: $33.74 - 35.43

Education: Two-year college degree (orequivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, oradditional job experience)

Experience: Completion of Assistant Center Store Managerrotation – or - two years equivalent management experience – or - in currentBakery Department Manager or Meat Department Manager or Produce DepartmentManager role

Other:Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; mustbe forklift certified
Physical:Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequentbasis. Requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance
