Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is hiring a Center Store Manager for the Merced, CA location at 150 W. Olive Ave.

This role oversees Center Store operations, merchandising, inventory, and pricing, while guiding and developing Center Store associates to deliver exceptional customer service and store performance. The position requires a two-year degree (or equivalent), rotation experience or 2+ years of management, forklift certification, and the ability to work varied retail hours.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree required.
• Completion of Assistant Center Store Manager rotation or two years of equivalent management experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Must be able to work a variety of retail hours.
• Must be able to stand and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Center Store operations and merchandising to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and direction to Center Store associates and train/develop staff to advance careers.
• Manage department performance and productivity to improve store results.
• Oversee back room, shelving, inventory, schematics, and pricing within Center Store.
