Schnucks in Champaign, IL seeks a Center Store Clerk to deliver friendly customer service and maintain shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. You will process deliveries, read shelf tags, rotate stock, and handle damaged items for credits.

Training is provided at store level; this role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing 4-8 hours, and working in cold environments, with safety guidelines followed at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments.
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors.
• Read shelf tags and sort damaged product for credit.
• Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler following safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer.
