Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Retail Associate at Family Fare in Litchfield, MN. You will help stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and support guest service to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role requires basic reading/writing, math skills, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, maintaining clean departments, following safety and food safety standards, and collaborating with managers on inventory needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Detail oriented with good accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager when products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Know product locations and maintain familiarity with departments.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments; follow PPE and safety rules.
• Follow Food Safety and Cleaning guidelines.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

COMPENSATION: Hourly rate $13.00 - $16.00 depending on experience.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to work independently to display and stock products; to ensure that you contribute to the financial best interest of the store. Additionally, this role is responsible for meeting company guidelines for guest experience, as well as complying with company guidelines for safety and food safety.
