Job Summary
Job Title: Center Store 3rd Shift Stocker
Reports to: Center Store 3rd Shift Manager
SUMMARY:
Center Store Third Shift Stockers play a vital role in ensuring items are in stock for guests. They are responsible for stocking and organizing various departments, including grocery, frozen, dairy, general merchandise, wine & spirits, and health & beauty. The role involves keeping aisles clean and shelves stocked to provide a well-organized shopping experience during evening and night shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure product quality and presentation: Rotate products using FIFO, verify in-date items, and ensure proper display per planograms.
- Guest Service: Provide friendly and helpful service, greeting and assisting guests across departments.
- Assist with stock organization and unloading: Unload deliveries and maintain organized stock rooms.
- Maintain product presentation: Ensure products are attractively displayed on shelves and in cases.
- Correct sales floor conditions: Address store condition issues promptly.
- Inventory and pricing management: Maintain stock levels, ensure pricing accuracy, and keep ad items in stock.
- Collaboration with leadership and team members: Communicate effectively to uphold standards and exceed guest expectations.
- Cashier Trained: Support cashier duties and store closing when needed.
- Guest assistance: Help locate items, suggest products, and offer alternatives.
- Issue resolution: Address and resolve guest concerns efficiently.
- Department cleanliness: Keep work areas and shelves clean and organized.
- Honor commitments: Maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
- Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must perform each duty satisfactorily. Requirements include:
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- Understanding of safety policies and willingness to learn them.
- Ability to learn POS systems and operate equipment like power jacks, lifts, etc.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Requires standing for long periods, working in coolers and store areas, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures.
Work Schedule
Primarily night, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Can be part-time or full-time.
