Job Summary

Job Title: Center Store 3rd Shift Stocker

Reports to: Center Store 3rd Shift Manager

Summary

Center Store Third Shift Stockers are vital to our commitment to keeping items in stock for guests. They are responsible for stocking and organizing across multiple departments, including grocery, frozen, dairy, general merchandise, wine & spirits, and health & beauty. The role involves keeping aisles clean and shelves stocked to ensure a well-organized shopping experience during the evening/night shift.

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure product quality and presentation: Rotate products using FIFO, verify in-date items, and ensure proper display according to planograms.
  2. Guest Service: Provide exceptional service by greeting and assisting guests across departments.
  3. Assist with stock organization and unloading: Help unload deliveries and maintain organized stock rooms.
  4. Maintain product presentation: Ensure products are attractively displayed on shelves and in cases.
  5. Correct sales floor conditions: Address store conditions promptly for improvement opportunities.
  6. Inventory and pricing management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels, ensure pricing accuracy, and keep ad items in stock.
  7. Collaboration: Communicate effectively with leadership and team members to uphold standards.
  8. Cashier support: Be prepared to operate the register and support store closing when needed.
  9. Guest assistance: Help guests locate items, suggest products, and offer alternatives.
  10. Issue resolution: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
  11. Department cleanliness: Keep work areas, shelves, and the sales floor clean and organized.
  12. Attendance: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
  13. Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of safety requirements and willingness to learn safety policies.
  • Ability to learn and operate various systems, including POS.
  • Ability to safely use equipment such as power jacks, lifts, and balers.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to stand for long periods, work in coolers and store environments, and lift up to 50 pounds. Varying temperatures and humidity levels are involved.

Work Schedule

Primarily night, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Part-time or full-time positions available.
