Job summary

Eckerd Connects seeks a Center Standards & Incentives Manager in Albany, GA to supervise the center's behavior management system and ensure compliance with Job Corps regulations. You will assist students in developing social maturity to gain employment and monitor disciplinary actions and attendance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, Job Corps experience preferred, and a valid driver's license. The position includes comprehensive benefits and a starting annual salary around $49,025.28.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in social science or work-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Job Corps experience preferred.
  • One year experience in law enforcement, disciplinary or youth counseling capacity preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the center Student Behavior Management system, including zero tolerance for drugs and violence.
  • Ensures student compliance with Job Corps regulations.
  • Helps students acquire social maturity needed to gain employment and commence a career.
  • Reviews behavioral reports for consistency and determines proper level of discipline.
  • Participates in CPP Program to explain center rules and penalties.
  • Oversees in-service training of staff for total behavior management.
  • Monitors class attendance reports and coordinates disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Prepares statistical reports for Monthly Management Report and other disciplinary statistics.
  • Maintains responsibility for Student Government Association.

Annual Salary Range: $49,025.28

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises the center Student Behavior Management system, including zero tolerance for drugs and violence.
  • The Center Standards & Incentives Manager is responsible for ensuring student compliance with Job Corps regulations.
  • The Center Standards & Incentives Manager assists students in acquiring social maturity needed to gain employment and commence a career.
  • Reviews all behavioral reports for consistency and conformity to the rules, deciding which level of the centers Behavior Management System should deal with each problem.
  • Participates in CPP Program to ensure that center rules and regulations, disciplinary system and penalties are thoroughly explained.
  • Responsible for in-service training of all staff members with respect to their roles in total behavior management system.
  • Monitors all class attendance reports and coordinates all disciplinary action deemed necessary because of excessive class absenteeism.
  • Prepares all statistical reports necessary in compiling the Monthly Management Report and other statistics concerning disciplinary activities.
  • Maintain and responsible for Student Government Association.
