Job summary

Adams and Associates is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to lead the Safety & Security Department, ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant living, learning, and working environment for students and staff.

The role oversees center-wide security operations, safety programs, incident investigations, and compliance with DOL, Job Corps, and company requirements. Strong judgment, discretion, and leadership are required to promote accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree from an accredited institution or related professional certifications preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in military service, law enforcement, and/or safety management required.
• OSHA Certification required.
• Valid in-state driver\'s license and ability to meet Company insurability requirements.
• DOL approval required if reporting directly to the Center Director.
• Must be able to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and/or assess lifting requirements and request assistance when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management, and supervision of the Center\'s Safety & Security Department.
• Oversee center-wide security operations, safety programs, accident prevention initiatives, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Labor (DOL), Job Corps, and Company requirements.
