Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Safety & Security Manager to lead the Center’s Safety & Security Department, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for students and staff.

The role oversees security operations, safety programs, and incident investigations, with a focus on prevention and continuous improvement. The candidate must have a minimum of three years in military, law enforcement, or safety management, OSHA certification, and an in-state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in military service, law enforcement, and/or safety management required.
• OSHA Certification required.
• Valid in-state driver's license.
• DOL approval required if reporting directly to the Center Director.
• Must be able to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching.

The Safety & Security Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and supervision of the Center’s Safety & Security Department. This position ensures a safe, secure, and compliant living, learning, and working environment for students and staff. The Manager oversees Center-wide security operations, safety programs, accident prevention initiatives, incident investigations, and compliance with Department of Labor (DOL), Job Corps, and Company requirements.The position requires sound judgment, discretion, and strong leadership skills to effectively address safety concerns, resolve student and staff issues, and promote a culture of accountability, prevention, and continuous improvement.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree from an accredited institution or related professional certifications preferred.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in military service, law enforcement, and/or safety management required.OSHA Certification required.Valid in-state driver's license and ability to meet Company insurability requirements.DOL approval required if reporting directly to the Center Director.Must be able to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and/or assess lifting requirements and request assistance when necessary.“Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
