Responsibilities:
Mgr Center
- Has overall authority for center operations, production goals, monitors net yields, and implements improvement plans as required. Meets deadlines and maintains operational records.
- Manages inventories to optimize levels, maximize efficiencies, customer service, and minimize investment. Supports meeting deadlines and maintains operational records.
- Monitors donor retention, ensures efficient donor flow, and implements improvement and corrective actions as needed.
- Ensures compliance with all SOPs and applicable regulations. Performs staff tasks proficiently for training and critique.
- Handles financial oversight: setting budgets, meeting financial targets, cash management, and reporting.
- Ensures center quality compliance, inspection readiness, regulatory and customer requirements to ensure plasma purity, efficacy, and safety. Communicates concerns to the Director of Operations and Quality.
- Develops a culture of continuous improvement aligned with company values. Analyzes data to improve quality, efficiency, and profitability, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Collaborates with quality teams to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Participates in audits and develops effective corrective action plans.
- Follows HSE and OSHA policies, ensures compliance, and completes record-keeping and reporting.
- Maintains a clean, efficient environment, manages supplies, and conducts audits.
- Supports facility maintenance, partnering with corporate facilities for compliance.
- Handles recruitment, training, development, counseling, and termination, managing employee turnover effectively. Ensures HR policies are followed and communicates with HR for compliance.
- Ensures excellent customer service by staff, models good service, communicates with customers, and resolves complaints.
- Monitors marketing and advertising effectiveness, recommending improvements.
- Represents the company in the community and with vendors.
- Maintains confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum 4 years)
Experience
- At least 2 years supervisory or leadership experience OR completion of CSL Plasma Leadership Development program
Additional Comments
- Maintain company Technical Training certification
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance monitoring
- Manage financial responsibilities of the center
- Proficient in English
Working Conditions
- Ability to make impactful decisions, formulate reports, and present findings
- Physical ability to lift, bend, kneel, and perform manual tasks
- Up to 10% overnight travel
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to observe and communicate effectively, adapt to SOP modifications, and work in hazardous environments with PPE
