American Health Imaging is seeking an experienced and dynamic Center Manager to lead our Lawrenceville, GA location.

Job Summary:

The Center Manager is accountable for delivering high-quality, efficient and effective services for our Imaging patients and families in a standard centre(s). Creates a positive and collaborative work environment while supervising the daily activities, patient flow, operations, clinical procedures, and performance of centre staff. Participates in short-term and long-range planning and business development.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Patient Care

  • Greet patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Ensures accuracy of patient data entered in the RIS
  • Ensures smooth daily operations by resolving performance issues and ensuring appropriate scheduling of centre staff
  • Ensures patient throughput by completing pre-visit patient care and on-site patient preparation activities as needed
  • Acts as point of escalation for concerns and challenges from patients and referring physicians

Staff and Centre Management

  • Manages centre(s) within a single geographic area
  • Develops and fosters referring physician relationships
  • Maintains positive working relationships with joint venture partnerships, if applicable
  • Acts as the owner of the P&L with responsibility for escalating issues and concerns
  • Develops, reviews, and implements action plans based on financial reporting to enhance centre performance
  • Manages contrast coverage and corresponding radiologist schedules
  • Attends training to stay up to date on best practices and protocols
  • Implements and manages the training and onboarding program for new associates
  • Participates in the staff planning and hiring process for new associates
  • Leads regular team and department meetings and employee one-on-ones
  • Monitors and approves timecards on a daily or weekly basis
  • Leads, initiates, and participates in annual performance evaluations, developmentand performance management of associates
  • Establishes associate schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate coverage
  • Evaluates, implements, and manages workflow and process improvements for the department
  • Ensures the department has knowledge of company and department policies and corresponding procedures are in place
  • Supports employees ensuring highest level of patient satisfaction
  • Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Develops methods for measuring and monitoring team and department performance
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience working in healthcare environment
  • 2-3 years of previous people management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; including excel
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
  • Knowledge of basic level computer skills
  • Skill in organising and prioritising work and following assignments through to completion
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to take initiative to improve processes, think strategically and identify trends
  • Ability to provide open, honest feedback to improve decision making
  • Ability to influence across the organisation and work effectively with all levels of management and staff

Physical Requirements:
